How to Bring Your Phone to PureTalk

Yes, you can bring your phone, watch, or tablet to PureTalk!
You love your phone, your tablet, and of course your smart watch, so no wonder you want to keep them! At PureTalk, we understand. We get that while there are always so many new devices on the market (iPhone 16 anyone?), many of us prefer those we already have and are comfortable with. That's why PureTalk makes it easy to bring your phone, your Apple watch, even your iPad to our network.
Below you'll find three (ok, three and a half!) simple steps to bringing your favorite devices to PureTalk. We've provided links throughout but, should you have questions, please contact our 100% US Customer Support team at (877) 820-7873.

Step #1-a
Check that your device is unlocked and compatible with our network.
If you’re on Android: Google your device for specific instructions on checking if your phone is unlocked. Then simply follow those instructions.
If you’re on iPhone: Go to Settings> General > About > Carrier Lock. If it says No SIM restrictions, your phone is unlocked. If it indicates SIM restrictions, reach out to your carrier for help unlocking your phone.
Step #1-b
Check that your device is compatible with our network. To do so, simply visit PureTalk.com and click on “Check Your Phone.”
Step #2
Choose one of our affordable plans.
Once you’ve verified that your phone is compatible and unlocked, you can choose any of PureTalk’s affordable plans and click “add to cart.”
Then, you’ll be able to choose whether you want to purchase a new phone or bring your own. The options are tempting, (we've got a super selection of the latest iPhones and Androids, tablets, and watches!) but hey, this is about bringing YOUR device, right? So simply indicate that's what you'd like to do!
Phone plans:
All phone plans include Unlimited Talk & Text, Unlimited International Talk & Text to 70+ countries, and International Roaming to 50+ destinations outside of the U.S.
Tablet plans:
Choose from PureTalk's affordable tablet plans!
Watch plan:
Stream music, make calls, reply to messages & more even when you don’t have your iPhone or a Wi-Fi connection.

SIM card or eSIM? That is the question
To bring your own phone, you’ll need either a physical SIM card or eSIM. Just select what works for you!
You can instantly activate your PureTalk service with eSIM - a virtual SIM card eliminating the wait for physical delivery and manual install. Compatible with newer devices, it ensures hassle-free connectivity.
Alternatively, if your device requires a physical SIM, explore our SIM card option.
Step #3
Activate your device with eSIM or activate with a SIM card you receive in the mail.
Once you’ve chosen a phone, SIM or eSIM, you’ll be taken to your shopping cart. There, you can click “add more lines to save” if you want to add any additional lines to your plan.
If you need more than one line of service, you get a multiline discount on your total bill: 10% for two lines, 15% for three lines or 20% for four or more lines!
